COMMUNICATION SYSTEM AND RADIO TRANSMITTER-RECEIVER BASED ON USB STANDARD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication system on the basis of the USB standard, that can promote introduction of communication devices, on the basis of the USB providing wiring with flexibility. SOLUTION: When a personal computer 1 transmits an electrical signal to a wireless transmitter-receiver 31, connected to the personal computer 1 by a USB cable 13, the electrical signal is given on the basis of the USB standard from a control function section 11 for a USB controller from the personal computer 1. The wireless transmitter-receiver 31 converts the electrical signal into an optical signal and transmits the optical signal in space. When a printer 2 receives data from the personal computer 1, a wireless transmitter-receiver 32, built in the printer 2, converts the optical signal into an electrical signal in compliance with the USB standard and gives the electrical signal to a control function section 21 for a USB device of the printer 2.
