HELMET

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a helmet capable of enhancing air ventilation and capable of improving hot and stuffy feelings in the summer. SOLUTION: This helmet 1 has a pad 4 and a headband 5 and is so structured that the pad 4 is attached to a front area of the bottom of the inner surface 2a of an impact-absorbing liner 2 and positioned in the bottom inner circumferential direction of the impact-absorbing liner 2, and the headband 5 is attached to a rear area of the bottom of the inner surface 2a of the impact-absorbing liner 2 and is adjustable in size according to circumference of the head. Because the helmet is thus structured, the wearer is prevented from the circumferential area of the head being tightened. Further, the air ventilation inside the helmet 1 is enhanced by exhausting the air inside the helmet 1 through a gap between the rear area of the bottom of the inner surface 2a of the impact-absorbing liner 2 and the head of the wearer, so that the hot and stuffy feelings in the summer is improved.
