Thereby, the collagenase activity inhibitor or cosmetic composition has collagenase activity inhibitory actions and is capable of imparting luster and firmness to the skin, reducing even wrinkles and flabbiness and maintaining a state of the youthful skin. As a result the collagenase activity inhibitor or cosmetic composition is effective in preventing skin aging.
