METHOD AND DEVICE FOR SETTING TORQUE IN DESIGNING BOTTLE AND CAP

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent in advance a bottle cap from being defectively opened. SOLUTION: A torque setting device comprises a bottle 1 designed with the predetermined shape, size, material or the like, and a cap 2 provided on a mouth part 1a of the bottle 1. A torque measurement unit 3 fixed to the bottle 1 is connected to the cap 2, and the optimum opening torque of the cap 2 is measured by holding the bottle 1 and the cap 2 in right and left hands, respectively, and relatively turning them to each other. The measurement results are fed back as the design data of the bottle and the cap of the predetermined design, and the bottle and the cap capable of obtaining the optimum opening/ closing torque are designed based thereon.
