ATTACHMENT FOR ULTRASONOGRAPH

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an attachment for an ultrasonograph, enabling measurement for a subject still in the seated state by interposing an ultrasonic medium between a probe and an eyeball in observing a tomographic image of the eyeball by an immersion method using the ultrasonograph capable of displaying the tomographic image of the eyeball by ultrasonic waves. SOLUTION: This attachment for the ultrasonograph is shaped like a cup so that the tip of the probe for the ultrasonograph (hereinafter referred to as probe) can be inserted and it is so constructed that liquid, or a liquid-like or gel-like ultrasonic medium 5 is sealed between the tip of the probe and the attachment for the ultrasonograph, and a concave-like enclosure for filling the gel-like ultrasonic medium 4 is provided between the eyeball and the attachment for the ultrasonograph, whereby in measurement, the space from the tip of the probe to the eyeball of the subject is filled up with the ultrasonic medium so that the subject can be measured in the seated state.
