Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of minimizing alternating-current loss of a high- temperature superconductive wire. SOLUTION: The method is proposed to minimize alternating current loss of a high-temperature superconductive wire consisting of a high-temperature superconductive material. A magnetic field component is applied along the vertical direction to the high-temperature superconductive material so that a composite magnetic field component, which is produced by a vertical magnetic field component and a circumferential magnetic field component caused by an electric current flow, is formed in the direction approximately parallel to the direction of extrusion of the high-temperature superconductive material. The high-temperature superconductive wire is tape-shaped and consists of a metal coating and a plurality of high-temperature superconductive materials in a filament state which lay in the metal coating. Each high-temperature superconductive material is a twisted wire. |
