BED LOAD SAMPLER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bed load sampler capable of safely and surely collecting a bed load by an appropriate sampling method for analyzing a flowing condition of the bed load. SOLUTION: The bed load sampler 1 includes a watercourse inlet 3 for making the flowing water of a river flow therein together with the bed load, a cylindrical trunk section 2 forming a watercourse for leading the flowing water flowing from the watercourse inlet 3 toward a downstream side of a water current of the river, a watercourse outlet 4 for discharging the flowing water flowing inside of the cylindrical trunk section 2 toward the downstream side of the water current of the river, bed load selecting net bodies 9 to 12 for catching the bed load flowing inside of the cylindrical trunk section 2 inside of the cylindrical trunk section 2 by selecting it from the water current inside of the cylindrical trunk section 2, a watercourse inlet opening door 17 moved to a watercourse inlet opening position from a watercourse inlet closing position at a time when the bed load is begun to collect and a watercourse inlet closing body 14 capable of moving between the watercourse inlet opening position and the watercourse inlet closing position by opening the watercourse inlet 3 and put at the watercourse inlet closing position at a time when the sampling of the bed load is completed by putting it at the watercourse inlet opening position during the sampling of the bed load.
