SEAL CUTTER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manual seal cutter of a simple structure, easy to adjust and set a gap between a cutting edge and a supporting surface part and to manufacture the same, capable of accurately adjusting and setting the gap, and preventing separating paper from being cut and the cutting edge from being damaged. SOLUTION: A pair of nipping and holding half bodies 1 is pivotally connected at overlapped parts. A cutting edge 3 is formed on one of opposing inner side edges of nipping and holding parts opening and closing through the pivotally connected part 2, locking projection part 8 abutting on one nipping and holding half body 1 not allowing the cutting edge 3 to abut on the supporting surface 5 when a nipping and holding cutting part 6 is closed is provided in adjacent of the pivotally connected part 2 of another nipping and holding half body 1. The gap between the cutting edge 3 and supporting surface 5 can b adjusted with the locking projection part 8 deflected by strongly nipping and holding a cutting part 6. A retaining projection part 7 not allowing the cutting edge 3 to abut on the support surface part 5 to retain a minute gap is protrudedly provided. The retaining projection part 7 has a structure for adjusting position and projection from the cutting edge 3 or the supporting surface 5 with the locking projection part 8 deflected by strongly nipping and holding cutting part 6.
