Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a facility for removing deposits on a molten iron holding vessel in which the cutting efficiency of mixed and solidified stuff mainly consisting of a base metal and slag is considerably improved, and the total cutting and removing works are mechanized to remarkably improve the efficiency and the safety of the removing works. SOLUTION: In the facility 10 for removing deposits in the molten iron holding vessel 11 which melts and cuts the mixed and solidified stuff 12 mainly consisting of the base metal and the slag which are deposited in the hot metal holding vessel 11, a powder cutting machine 19 which uses iron powder 29 and 34 as combustion material is used for cutting the mixed and solidified stuff 12, and a mechanical carrying means which uses no air or gas carrying means 40a and 55a which use oxygen for the carrying fluid are used for a means to transport the iron powder 29 and 34 to a cutting torch 19a.
