Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable electronic equipment such as portable telephone, with which Korean characters can be speedily inputted by a simple operation. SOLUTION: In the portable electronic equipment including 12 operate keys K1-K12, to mutually adjacent prescribed key pairs of which the consonant sounds or vowel sounds of Korean characters or prescribed function is imparted, the consonant sounds or vowel sounds of Korean characters or prescribed functions are applied to all or one part of eight key pairs (K1, K2, K2, K3, K4, K5, K5, K6, K7, K8, K8, K9, K10, K11, K11 and K12) composed of laterally adjacent keys and/or all or one part of nine key pairs (K1, K4, K2, K5, K3, K6, K4, K7, K5, K8, K6, K9, K7, K10, K8, K11, K9 and K12) composed of longitudinally adjacent keys.
