Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display element free from the movement of spacer particles in a liquid crystal cell and the deterioration of the display quality due to minute luminescent point. SOLUTION: The spacer particles having a colored polymer adhesive resin layer formed on the surface thereof is used. Thereby, the liquid crystal display element free from the deterioration of the display quality can be obtained, since the spacer particles are fixed to substrates by the adhesive resin and, even if the adhesive resin separated from the surface of the spacer particles is adhered onto an alignment layer, the light leakage from the part is hardly conspicuous and the minute luminescent point is not formed even in black display.
