Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide equipment wherein a waste gas flow passage in a heat exchanger is unlikely to close and produced dust is cleaned with ease. SOLUTION: Waste gas from a melting furnace 5 for melting a waste is flowed through a plurality of stages of indirect heat exchangers 7 to 10 connected in series via waste gas communication passages 70, 71, and 72, and waste heat of waste gas is recovered by dividing the operation into a plurality of steps. Thereupon, the waste gas communication passage 70 connecting at least the uppermost stream heat exchanger 7 and the next stage heat exchanger 8 is formed to include dust capture spaces 70S, 70S where a waste gas flow speed flowing the inside is lower than that in the uppermost stream heat exchanger 7.
