COMMON MODE CHOKE COIL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a common mode choke coil having good noise removing performance over a wide range from a low frequency region to a high frequency region. SOLUTION: The common mode choke coil 1 is provided with a bobbin 2, a magnetic substance core 3 consisting of two U-shaped core members 11, 12, and a pair of windings 5, 6. Windings 5, 6 are wound about the outer periphery of a cylinder part 21 of the bobbin 2. Namely, the winding region of the winding 5 is the right half (between the flanges 22 and 26) of the cylinder 21, and further it is divided by the flange 24 into a single-layer winding part 5a in the region 32a and a multi-layer winding part 5b in the region 32b. Similarly, the winding region of the winding 6 is the left half (between the flanges 23 and 26) of the cylinder 21, and further it is divided by the flange 25 into a single-layer winding part 6a in the region 31a and a multi-layer winding part 6b in the region 31b.
