Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an asphalt composition for waterproofing work, low in thermosensitivity and yet excellent in practical performance as represented by oil bleed resistance and weather resistance. SOLUTION: The asphalt composition for waterproofing work is characterized in that it contains 15-30 wt.% of saturated components, 13-30 wt.% of asphaltenes, and 15-30 wt.% of resins, wherein the aromaticity index (FA) of the asphaltenes is 0.30-0.48 and the aromaticity index (FA) of the resins is 0.20-0.36.
