Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new compound as a material for a red organic EL element and device, and make a EL device fit to the NTSC standard. SOLUTION: The new compound is obtained by bonding a benzene ring at the second and the third positions of 2,5-dimethyl-4-(2,2-dicyano)pyran of an electron attracting group and bonding a conjugated electron donating group at the fifth position. By using the compound, the electroluminescence is shifted to a red spectral region, and a red EL element having higher purity is obtained. The compound is easily synthesized, and the production yield can be increased from a production yield in a conventional technology. Further, a red organic EL device produced from the compound fits the existing NTSC standard. |
