SHEET CASSETTE AND THERMAL PRINTER USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet cassette allowing recording sheets to be easily set when setting the recording sheets including special recording paper in the sheet cassette loaded from a front opening portion of a thermal printer in a vertical or horizontal state in such a manner as to ride over double feed preventing pawl portions, causing no damage on a recording surface and allowing particularly tough special recording paper to be easily set without causing the bending of corner portions, and the thermal printer using the same. SOLUTION: The sheet cassette comprises a case body 5 set to be longer in size than the recording sheet in the longitudinal direction for storing the recording sheets, a thrusting member 10 having pawl portions 12, 12 to be locked at both side angle portions on the delivery front end side for energizing the recording sheets toward a pickup roller, a first spring member 24 for thrusting the recording sheets at their side ends toward a side wall portion 6b of the case body, and a second spring member 13 for thrusting the recording sheets at their rear ends toward the pawl portions 12, 12.
