AIR BAG DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To rapidly perform the introduction of gas with a balance even when the output of an inflator is large in an air bag device installed in a door opening part to protect the head. SOLUTION: A gas introduction pipe 26 having one end supportedly connected to the inflator 25 is inserted into a gas introduction flow passage 22 extending in the longitudinal direction of an air bag 20 and allowing a plurality of cells 21 to be inserted therein on the lower side. The other end part of the gas introduction pipe is fixed to a body 10 by a mounting member 30 having a holding part 30a for holding the gas introduction pipe from the outside of the air bag 20. The mounting member comprises a pair of brackets 31 and 32 bolted to the upper side portion of a door opening 14 by holding the mounting part 24 of the upper edge part 23c of the air bag by one-end parts of the brackets from both sides. In this fixed state, holding parts allowed to abut on each other are formed of the other ends of the brackets through the air bag at the positions of the gas introduction pipe opposite to each other.
