Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink jet recording material, which has a high photograph- like gloss, a high ink absorbency and an improved preservability. SOLUTION: In the ink jet recording material, which is formed by providing an ink accepting layer on a support, the ink accepting layer includes a repeating structure selected from hydrazine derivative structures or non-cyclic hydroxylamine derivative structures and a cation type polymer having a repeating structure different from the above repeating structure and giving cationic properties.
