CUTTING DEVICE WITH CIRCULAR BLADE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cutting device fitted with circular blades for a band material of very thin and ductile constitution made from a resin film, metal foil, etc., or a laminated band material using such a band material as the base which is coated with other substance, whereby it is practicable to slit the band material without resulting in an elongation or without generating flaw on its surface such as scratches. SOLUTION: The cutting device fitted with the circular blades is structured so that an elastic ring 8 in cylindrical form is installed on a hold-down roll 7 provided on the outside of a second spacer block 6, wherein the outside diameter of the elastic ring 8 is made certain value greater than that of the second circular blade 4, and the hold-down roll 7 is supported rotatably relative to the second rotary shaft 2, and thereby the hold-down roll 7 is allowed to turn together with the first circular blade 3 regardless of the rotation of the second circular blade 4.
