Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a continuous casting method for a casting little in a bubble defect capable of suppressing the clogging of an immersion nozzle, and preventing the bubble defect such as linear flaw and a bulging flaw generating in a steel material worked by rolling a casting. SOLUTION: In the continuous casting method for the casting, wherein while blowing an inert gas into an immersion nozzle provided on a tundish 12, a molten metal 11 in a tundish 12 is poured into a mold 13 using the immersion nozzle 14, and by the cooling in the mold 13 and the cooling by water spray from a cooling nozzle mounted on a support segment 15 provided on the understream side of the mold 13, the molten steel 13 is solidified to manufacture the casting, the inert gas to be blown into the immersion nozzle 14 contains a nitrogen gas.
