Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain chemicals for water treatment having excellent ability to clean wastewater containing phosphorus and other contaminants under neutral conditions and which can be effectively used for a long time in nature. SOLUTION: The chemicals for water treatment consist of a molding obtained by kneading the power of a porous sintered material, calcined gypsum, alum and/or polychlorinated aluminum, water and if necessary, polyvinyl alcohol and is obtained by molding and heating them. In the method for cleaning the waste water containing phosphorus, the wastewater containing phosphorus is brought into contact with the chemicals under the condition of pH at 5.0 to 9.0.
