Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and a method for recovery and disposition of electronic equipment allowing a user to confirm that data stored in a memory in recovered equipment has been erased and allowing performing of recovery work quickly. SOLUTION: The system comprises an information terminal device 25 connected to a management server 10 via a network and an erasing device 30 having a recovery means 20 to recover the equipment become unnecessary from the user and a data erasing device 31 to erase the data stored in the memory in the recovered equipment by the recovery means 20, and the server 10 comprises a receiving means 11 to bring the server 10 into receiving of a request for recovery from the user, a transmitting means 12 to transmit recovery information instructing recovery of the equipment to the terminal device 25 of a predetermined recovery means 20 based on the received request and an issuing means 14 to issue a certificate of erasing to certificate completion of an erasing of the data when receiving a report on the completion of the erasing of the data stored in the memory in the recovered equipment.
