Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cover locking button having good visibility and operability at a low cost by using a zoom lever and a zoom button functioning as a photographing operation member required to have very good operability also as a locking release button. SOLUTION: The camera is provided with the photographing operation member (3) which is operated when a picture is taken by the camera, a covering member (1) for covering at least a part of the camera when a picture is not taken by the camera, and a locking mechanism (11) for locking the closed state of the covering member (1). The photographing operation member (3) is used also as an operating member for operating the locking mechanism (11).
