Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a restart method for a gas turbine engine and a restart device used therein capable of restarting the gap turbine engine using a starting motor even while the engine is hot and an output shaft rotates to shorten restart time in the gas turbine engine. SOLUTION: When the gas turbine engine 21 is restarted and a rotation speed of the gas turbine engine 21 becomes smaller than a self-sustaining rotation speed and smaller than an ignition start time rotation speed, the starting motor 27 is operated and an ignition plug 41 is turned ON. After turning the ignition plug 41 ON, a fuel shut-off valve 47 is opened. When a rotation speed of the gas turbine engine 21 using the start motor 27 reaches a predetermined rotation speed after opening the fuel shut-off valve 47, a flow rate of fuel is restricted. The ignition plug 41 is turned OFF after the ignition. When the rotation speed of the gas turbine engine 21 exceeds the self-sustaining rotation speed, the start motor 27 is stopped. |
