Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow the enhancement in the magnetic shielding effectiveness between a recording component and a reproducing component, the reduction of process, such as a manufacturing process and a wiring connecting work process, and the man day to be provided, in a composite thin film magnetic head device constituted so that one composite thin film magnetic head records a signal and another composite thin film magnetic head reproduces the recorded signal simultaneously to enable a recorded condition to be verified. SOLUTION: This device is a composite thin film magnetic head device 1 in which a plurality of the composite thin film magnetic heads 3, 5 having the recording component and the reproducing component (91 and 81 ), (92 and 82 ), respectively, are integrated, and the information recorded by one composite thin film magnetic head 3 or 5 is reproduced immediately by another composite thin film magnetic head 5 or 3. In this head the magnetic shield layer 25, 26 to magnetically shield from each other between the composite thin film magnetic head 3 and 5 are formed by a thin film.
