Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a condensed liquid discharging device for a quenching system, which efficiently discharges condensed liquid, such as of water, resulting from quenching treatment of a high-temperature gas, such as an exhaust gas. SOLUTION: A quenching device 1 is provided with a quenching cylinder 2 for permitting to pass a high-temperature gas, such as an exhaust gas, through an inlet 3 towards an outlet 4, and a number of heat exchanging cooling pipes 5 or the like, which are disposed in the quenching cylinder 2, for passing cooling medium therethrough. Water or the like in the high-temperature gas which is in the process of being cooled in the cooling pipes 5 or the like, is evaporated, and the resultant condensed liquid is rendered to be discharged.
