Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable an article to be packaged to be almost completely protected against an impact by providing a holding part, which integrally holds the article to be packaged, in a packaging box assembled from a single paper plate material. SOLUTION: In this packaging box formed of the paper plate material, both holding plate parts 15 and 20, which are provided in both side plate parts 6 and 7 provided continuously in such a manner as to face each other in one direction of a bottom plate part 2, are formed with an opening-like fitting holding part having at least an upside part, into which the lower-half-part side of both side parts of the article to be packaged is fitted, and front and rear side parts, in order to suppress lateral and longitudinal displacements of the article to be packaged.
