Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink jet head and an ink-jet recorder which can drive with a small consumption of power and a low energy, can discharge a high- viscosity ink and have ink discharge characteristics improved. SOLUTION: The ink jet head has a head chip and a negative pressure- adjusting part 60. The head chip discharges ink filled inside grooves from nozzle openings by impressing a driving voltage to electrodes set to side walls of the grooves formed to a piezoelectric ceramic plate, and changing the volume in the grooves. The negative pressure-adjusting part 60 has a film-shaped body 70 set in the middle of an ink supply path for supplying ink to the head chip and partly formed of an elastic member. A heater 80 for heating ink in the negative pressure-adjusting part 60 is set to an outer face of the negative pressure-adjusting part 60.
