Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To recycle a waste insulator as low cost blast material substituting for silica sand for sand blasting. SOLUTION: As blast material substituting for silica sand for sand blasting, the waste insulator is crushed and classified, thereby adjusting grain size within a range from 0.3 to 2.5 mm. The grain size adjusting within the range is conducted so as to have a grain diameter equal to that of silica sand new special no.5A or silica sand no.5A. However, though the waste insulator is not inferior to the silica sand in performance, it is not preferable in point of dust generating amount that grain size distribution leans to a small part (powder).
