METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR DISINFECTING WASTEWATER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wastewater disinfecting method and an apparatus therefor, for calculating the proper amount of a disinfectant developing proper disinfection effect corresponding to fluctuations in the quality of wastewater and not generating a residual halogen by adding a minimum necessary amount of the disinfectant to a liquid to be treated. SOLUTION: In the method for disinfecting the liquid to be treated by the halogen type disinfectant, the reduction degree of the concentration of an effective halogen after the addition of the halogen type disinfectant is detected to control the addition amount of the halogen type disinfectant.
