LINEAR DRIVER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coil reinforcing structure for a linear driver which uses, as a moving element, a coil prepared in a movable member held so as to be movable along a guide freely, causes current to flow into the coil through a distribution wire, and drives the movable member along the guide. SOLUTION: This relates to a linear driver which causes a closed magnetic circuit consisting of a yoke and magnets fixed to a stationary member to constitute a stator, uses as a moving element a coil 4 prepared in a movable member held to be movable along a guide freely, causes current to flow into the coil 4 through a flexible printed cable 5, and drives the movable member 1. A reinforcing plate 7 is fitted to at least one of end surfaces perpendicular to the movable directions of the coil 4, and to that reinforcing plate 7 an end part of the flexible cable 5 is jointed.
