PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a television viewer to recognize an incoming call from outside without fail, wherever terminal equipment for communication is installed. SOLUTION: When there is an incoming call at terminal equipment 34, a computer 58 receives the incoming information by radio from the terminal equipment 34 via an antenna 46 and a communication line 54. When the computer 58 is inputted with the incoming information, it outputs a switching signal for switching a displaying state to a television set 38 to which the displaying condition of the television set. Thereafter, the computer 58 outputs the incoming call notifying information to the television set 38 to allow it to display the information outside. The television viewer can know immediately that there is an incoming call at the terminal equipment 34 from outside, based on the incoming call notifying information (including the sound output) displayed on the television set. Since the incoming information from the terminal equipment 34 is received by the computer 58 by ratio, it does not matter where a facsimile machine 34 is installed.
