Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a combustion apparatus capable of changing display of an indicator to display an operation state according to the preference of a user and brightness in a room. SOLUTION: The combustion apparatus comprises a burner to effect combustion; and a color indicator 54 to display various operation states by changing luminescent colors. Further, by providing a selection switch 70 to prohibit display by the color indicator 54 and a luminescence regulating means for regulating luminescence, it is a matter of course that various operation states can be easily conformed by a difference in a luminescent color, and a display or non-display state according to the preference of a user and a using state can freely be selected, optimum display is carried out, and usability is extremely excellent.
