Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To assemble a rolling bearing device without damaging a raceway surface or a rolling contact surface. SOLUTION: An inner ring 17 having a second inner ring raceway 18 is externally fitted to a shaft 15 having a first inner ring raceway 16. The pitch P1 of the raceways 16 and 18 is set to be larger than the pitch p1 necessary for the predetermined pre-load. Under this condition, balls 5 and 5 are built in between outer ring raceways 43 and 43 of an inner circumferential surface of an outer ring 19 and the first and second inner ring raceways 16 and 18. The balls 5 and 5 are arranged at equal intervals in the circumferential direction. Next, the inner ring 17 is deviated in the axial direction, and the required pre-load is applied with the pitch p1 .
