Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polymeric material classifying method capable of simply and certainly classifying a polymeric material and capable of efficiently performing recycling treatment, or the like, after classification, and a classification system therefor. SOLUTION: In the polymeric material classifying method, a material containing a data presentation substance, which comprises one or more kinds of elements or compounds of them and with which the data related to the polymeric material A is correlated correspondingly to the kind and/or content of the elements or the compounds of them, is formed from the polymeric material, and the kind and/or content of the data presentation substance contained in the polymeric material A is measured and, on the basis of the measured kind and/or content of the data presentation substance, the polymeric material A is discriminated and the polymeric material A is classified on the basis of the discrimination result.
