VEGETATION BASE MATERIAL AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To sufficiently exploit properties of coconut dust. SOLUTION: Coconut dust (110) separated and collected from coconut hull (104) is dehydrated (114) and dried (116) to a fixed water content and only the coconut dust is solidified (124) into a fixed three-dimensional block shape through a compression molding by a press working. Then the block body (124) is immersed in water (128) in a block state as it is. Consequently the block body is swollen and softened (130) in water absorption and hydration of coconut dust from a compression state followed by swelling, the swollen and softened block body is loosened to give a hydrous dust body (132), which is mixed (140, 144) by a proper amount with another admixture as one admixture to give a vegetation base material (146).
