Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for measuring a surface level of a filled substance which can correctly and surely measure a top end level of contents filled in a casing pipe when measuring a height level to the contents in the casing pipe. SOLUTION: A distance measuring device 1 is set in a predetermined manner of a position fixing method, or a suspension method or the like mobile method to a top end face of the contents inside the casing pipe 2. Data on the level detected by the distance measuring device is transmitted to a computer 13 of a base machine 3. Measured data is automatically subtracted from the length of the casing pipe through automatic control, and data noises are cut by processing by software or the like manner. The level of the contents is calculated accordingly.
