Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To expand an area which a pressure limiting device (56) can use in this pressure limiting device (56) for a fuel system of an internal combustion engine having a casing (58) provided with an inlet (70) and an outlet (86), and in a type of the device having an element (82) with a preload applied for connecting the inlet (70) to the outlet (86) in the fluid manner from a predetermined pressure difference between the inlet (70) and the outlet (86). SOLUTION: In the pressure limiting device, an escape volume is prepared on an upstream side of the element (82) with preload applied seen in the flow direction.
