METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR PREPARING LAYOUT DATA

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a system for preparing layout data by which confirmation and correction works by an operator are reduced by superimposing needed information on an image for plate making utilized fort a printed matter or character information and outputting the needed information. SOLUTION: Original layout data and image data allocated onto the original layout data are extracted, and image file name/variable power rate/resolution being attribute information of the image data are also extracted. If the extracted attribute information is within a set range, the image file name/variable power rate/resolution are outputted while superimposed on the image data as they are (a). If the extracted attribute information is out of the set range, for instance, if vertical and horizontal variable power rates are different, an alarm message is outputted (b).
