Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce generation of blister which causes material defects by facilitating emission of gas which evolves in the material during sintering, when obtaining aluminum-based bearing materials through powder metallurgy. SOLUTION: A composite band material 7 made from powder having a three-layer structure is continuously produced by a powder compacting molding roll 1. The powder composite band material is sintered at a temperature between 460 deg.C and 550 deg.C to provide a sintered composite band material 7a. The sintered composite band material is continuously roll bonded with a steel band material 9. The bonded composite band material is selectively heat treated at a temperature between 250 deg.C and 400 deg.C, then is heated at a temperature between 400 deg.C and 510 deg.C, is maintained at the temperature for more than 30 seconds, and is rapidly cooled to 300 deg.C at a cooling speed of 50 deg.C/ minute or more, to provide a multilayered composite material consisting of the steel band material, an adhesion layer of the sintered layer, a sliding layer, and a sacrificial layer. The manufacturing method is characterized by adding one or more low melting elements selected from Sn, In, or Pb, of 0.4-5 mass% (the adhesion layer) and 0.4-25 mass% (the sacrificial layer) to the raw powder for forming the adhesion layer and the sacrificial layer which are surface layers. |
