JAPANESE LACQUER LIQUID

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a Japanese lacquer liquid excellent in a drying speed of Japanese lacquer film and gloss of Japanese lacquer film after drying, and a method for manufacturing Japanese lacquer film, and further a method for quality evaluation of a Japanese lacquer liquid. SOLUTION: The Japanese lacquer liquid having a water content of 1.49.1% (w/w) and a weight ratio (D/W) of the content (D) (% (w/w)) of a dimer or higher oligomers of urushiol to the content (W) (% (w/w)) of water in the range of 1.7-12.9. A method for manufacturing the Japanese lacquer liquid comprising one or more processes selected from a heating process of, a drying process of and a water addition process to a raw liquid of Japanese lacquer so that the water content becomes 1.4-9.1% (w/w) and the ratio of D/W becomes 1.7-12.9. The method for quality evaluation of a Japanese lacquer liquid based on the measured value of a ratio D/W of the Japanese lacquer liquid.
