Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method capable of obtaining thermoplastic composite foam having good surface smoothness in the joint or overlapped part of stretched sheets. SOLUTION: Three stretched sheets 3 are parallelly arranged on a hot-melt film in the same direction and a superposed body 7 of the hot-melt film 2 and three stretched sheets 3 is heated at a temperature from the melting point of the hot-melt film to the melting point of the stretched films 3 using a handpress molding machine 4 and, at the same time, three stretched sheets 3 are pressed to the hot-melt film 2 under predetermined pressure. Three stretched sheets 3 are integrated by this method and cooled to obtain a wide stretched sheet 6. Subsequently, the wide stretched films 6 are arranged on both upper and rear surfaces of a polyolefinic resin foam sheet 1 and a sandwich body 8 comprising the foam sheet 1 and a pair of the wide stretched sheets 6 holding the same is thermally pressed using the handpress molding machine 4 to obtain the composite foam 5.
