Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pipe joint eliminating the possibility of being pulled out of a recessed groove, even if unduly stress is applied to an elastic cutoff material, at connecting of pipes. SOLUTION: This pipe joint 1 is provided with an insertion port 12, at least in one end part, and a recessed groove 13 is provided along the circumferential direction, in the outer circumferential surface of the insertion port 12; both the side surfaces of the recessed groove 13 are formed into slope surfaces 131, so that the interval is gradually made narrowed; approaching toward the opening part, and the internal circumferential side of the annular elastic cutoff material 14 is inserted in the recessed groove 13; both the side surfaces of the elastic cutoff material 14 are formed into slope surfaces 141, whose interval gradually narrows approaching toward the diametrical outward direction, and the width of the innermost circumferential part is formed wider than the opening width but narrower tan the innermost width of the recessed groove 14, and the width of the outermost circumferential part is formed narrower than the opening width of the recessed groove 14. |
