SELF-RUN MACHINE FOR CHECKING AND EXAMINATION AND CHECKING, AND EXAMINATION METHOD BY THE SELF-RUN MACHINE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a self-run machine for checking and examination for allowing an operator to check a working state or progress state, without having to enter a checking point, and for enabling a person other than the operator to confirm the working state or the like, the checking and examination method using the self-run machine, and building suitable for the checking by the self-run machine. SOLUTION: The self-run machine is provided with a body 10, a driving mechanism for allowing the body 10 to travel by a remote operation, a power source (battery 30) for supplying power to the driving mechanism, a camera 40 mounted on the body 10, and a light 50 for irradiating the viewing angle of the camera 40. A caterpillar 80 is suitable as the driving mechanism. This self-run machine is made to travel under floor or in attic space, and images photographed by the camera 40 are outputted wirelessly, and the received images are displayed at a monitor, so that the presence or the absence of abnormalities can be checked.
