Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a charged state estimating method to accurately estimate a charged state of a battery with good reproducibility, in order to make a hybrid transmission system or the like of a vehicle, equipped with a battery pack, successfully operate. SOLUTION: A method of deciding the state of a battery includes a process of generating state vector describing the state of the battery, a process of estimating the response of the state vector (30, 32, 34, 36), a process of measuring the response of the battery, and a process of correcting the state vector depending on the difference between the estimated response and the measured response by measuring the response of the battery in order to decide the state of the battery (40, 42, 44).
