Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lubricating device for rolling plates with which the quantity of lubricating oil which flows into a water treating equipment is reduced while properly forming an oil film on the surface of a rolling roll. SOLUTION: The lubricating device 1, is used for jetting (spraying) the lubricant from the jetting nozzles 20 onto the surface of rolls for hot-rolling a steel plate p. High-viscosity lubricating oil such as grease is used as the lubricant and the lubricant is jetted only within the range in accordance with the width of the steel plate p to be rolled.
