SUBJECTIVE OPTOMETRIC INSTRUMENT USING A CONTINUOUSLY POWER VARYING LENS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a subjective optometric instrument that eliminates the trouble of changing a trial lens in accordance with an individual eye to examine and capable of carrying out smooth optometry. SOLUTION: The subjective optometric instrument 6 executes subjective optometry with trial lens arranged in a pair of right and left optometric windows 9a and 9b. As the trial lens used for optometry, continuously power varying lens 15 are used. As this structure makes it possible to vary power with lenses set in place, there is no need of replacing a lens itself and the foregoing purposes are attained. As power continuously changes, fine adjustment suited to the eye to examine is possible.
