SOLUTION: The variable inlet guide vane 30 includes opposing positive pressure side and negative pressure side 34 and 36 extending along a vane chord between a front edge and a rear edge 40 and 42 in the span direction from a root part 44 to a tip part 46. The vane has the maximum length larger than an approximately 8% of the blade chord length and is disposed in a position smaller than an approximately 35% of the blade chord length from the front edge. If the variable vane is rotated in some rotation angle range, this constitution can aerodynamically prevent undesirable exfoliation of an airflow flowing over the vane. |
