PACKING MEMBER, AND METHOD FOR STORING PACKED ARTICLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive packing member of simple configuration capable of saving resources, and a method for storing a packed article. SOLUTION: The packing member comprises a first packing member 1 having folded parts 1a and 1b on each end and using a narrow and long corrugated fiberboard of substantially U-shaped section in side view, and a second packing member 2 having folded parts 2c and 2d on each end and folded parts 2a and 2b on each side and using a corrugated fiberboard of wide bottom part and of bottomed box shape. The second packing member 2 is substantially trapezoidal, in which the tip side of the folded parts on each end forms a shorter side and that on the bottom side forms a longer side. The longer side of the packed article 10 is placed on the second packing member 2, the first packing member 1 is attached to the shorter side of the packed article. The first and second packing members are fixed to each other by a fixing member, and inclined surfaces 10p and 10q of the packed member are exposed to the opening part on each side.
