GLOVE BOX STRUCTURE FOR AUTOMOBILE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve reliability and a stopper without hindering the lid assembling performance in the case of providing the stopper for setting a lid opening position at a tip of an arm in the structure that the lid is pivotally supported by a lower edge of an opening of a glove box arranged in an instrument panel and that the arm extended from a rear surface of the lid is inserted into a through hole provided at a left edge of the glove box. SOLUTION: The stopper 25 is formed into a nearly triangle frame shape having a space 25a inside thereof. A bottom part 28 thereof is divided, and a tip of the arm 5 is divided to be connected to the divided bottom part, and thin hinge parts 30 and 30 are provided in each connection part. A lid side box 15 is provided in a right side of the lid 3, and a right side wall 15a thereof is formed with a projecting part 40. A right side wall part 2f of the glove box 2 is formed with a slit 41 for insertion of the projecting part 40. A rear edge of the slit 41 is positioned to be engaged with the projecting part 40 at the lid 3 opening position.
